Beatrice "Rosie" Gauvin Beatrice Gauvin, 2-41 Murray St., died at Sensenbrenner Hospital, Kapuskasing, on December 15, 2001. She was 74 years old. She was born on November 28, 1927 in Cork City, Cork, Ireland. She was a housewife. She enjoyed knitting, and crocheting. She was a great cook and enjoyed listening to Irish music. She is predeceased by: her husband Wilfred; her parents, Timothy and Kathleen Noonan; three sisters Margaret, Mary and Christine; three brothers Denny, Neddy and Brian. She is survived by: two sons Stephen (Kathleen) and Terry both of Kap; three daughters, Christine (Dan) Lapointe of Sault Ste. Marie, Kathy Gauvin of Kap and Lynn (Rodney Stevens) Gauvin of Timmins; one sister, Noreen Harrish of Sault Ste. Marie; six grandchildren Timothy, Stephanie, Carole, Anne, Maigan and Cassidy; three great grandchildren Ashley, Zoe and Marco The funeral services will be held at St. Patrick's Church, Ash Service on Dec. 20 at 10:15 am. Rev. Roger Pronovost will be performing the service. Cremation took place at Hillcrest Crematorium.
