Barbara A. (Montani) Norris of Bourne and formerly of Braintree died peacefully Dec. 6, at age 84. Barbara was born in Quincy, a graduate of Quincy High School, and was the loving daughter of the late Stephen and Georgianna Montani. She married John Norris on May 10, 1952, and the two raised their family in Braintree. Barbara was a devoted housewife and mother. She enjoyed time down the Cape and Florida, was a member of Pocasset Golf Club, and was an avid reader. Barbara was the loving wife of the late John F. Norris; and the devoted mother of Stephen Norris of Attleboro, John Norris of West Bridgewater, William Norris of Raynham, Patricia Simpson of East Bridgewater, Robert Norris of Weymouth, and James Norris of Plymouth; loving grandmother of John Norris III, Christopher Norris, Maria Norris, Stephen Norris, Catherine Simpson, Jeanine Simpson, and Robert Simpson and the late Lori Breault; loving sister of Stephen Montani of Milton, Edward Montani of Norwell, and the late Dorothy Donovan and Marjorie Montani. A Mass of Christian burial was held Dec. 10, at St. Anns Church, West Bridgewater, at noon, followed by a burial at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
