LEOMINSTER -- Antoinette (Payant) Halligan, 98, of 100 Main St., died Sunday, June 11, in the Life Care Center. She was born on Aug. 14, 1908, in Webster, the daughter of Arthur and Emma (Dubois) Payant. Mrs. Halligan worked as a seamstress at the Cluett Peabody Co. in Leominster and the Asher Pants Co. in Fitchburg. She was a member of St. Leo’s Parish in Leominster. Mrs. Halligan is survived by one son, Earl Halligan of Leominster; three daughters, Judith “Judy” Bolio of Lunenburg, Dianne Paglia and Alice Smith both of Florida; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, John Halligan on Feb. 4, 1972. She was also predeceased by one son, Richard Halligan; two brothers, Walter Payant and Arthur Payant; and five sisters, Blanche Reardon, Clara Konicky, Dorothy Plasse, Alice Barnes, and Irene Richard. HALLIGAN -- On June 11, Antoinette (Payant) Halligan, 98, of Leominster. The funeral will be held Thursday, June 15, from Wright-Roy Funeral Home, 109 West St., Leominster, with a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Leo’s Church, 128 Main St., Leominster. Burial will be in St. Leo’s Cemetery, Leominster. Calling hours are Thursday June 15, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
