LEOMINSTER -- Annie JG (Tessier) Bailey, 91, formerly of 556 Central St., No. 31, died Sunday morning, July 10, in the Lifecare Center, after an illness. She was born on May 27, 1914, in Leominster, the daughter of the late George E. and Julia A. (Marquis) Tessier, and was a lifelong Leominster resident.She was a member of St. Leo’s Church and the Daughters of Isabella.Mrs. Bailey worked as a stitcher at the former Cluet and Peabody Company in Leominster for 34 years, retiring in 1970. Later she went to work as a secretary at B.E. Gage Insurance Co. in Fitchburg.She was also a homemaker and avid govler.Mrs. Bailey leaves one son, Melvin F. Bailey of Leominster; two daughters, Beverly A. Godin and Janet LeBlanc, both of Leominster; 11 grandchidlren; 16 great-grandchildren; nephews; and nieces. Her husband of 66 years, Floyd M. Bailey, died in 1999; four brothers, Wilfred, Leo, Archie and Melvin Tessier also predeceased her.BAILEY -- On July 10, Annie JG (Tessier) Bailey, 91, of Leominster. The funeral will be held Wednesday, July 13, from M.A. Simard & Son Funeral Home, 14 Walker St., Leominster, with a Mass at 1 p.m. in St. Leo’s Church, 128 Main St., Leominster.
