MACDONALD, Ann (nee MacDonell), Peacefully, with her loving family at her bedside on Sunday, June 8, 2003 at Albright Centre in Beamsville in her 95th year. Ann is the beloved wife of the late Hugh "Gore" MacDonald, and loving mother of Maureen and Lee Kitts of Cornwall, Rosemary and Ian MacDonald, Margaret and Larry Dennis and Alex and Bonnie MacDonald, all of St. Catharines. Dear Gram of 11 grandchildren and Grandma Ann to 17 great-grandchildren. Ann is also survived by her sister-in-law Evel yn MacDonell of Maxville, ON., and many nieces and nephews. Aunt Annie will be sadly missed by her special niece Shirley (Ernie) Brunet. Ann is predeceased by her 4 brothers; Angus R., William, Allan and Alexander, as well as her 3 sisters; Margaret- Ann, Dolores and Josephine. Ann is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines, where friends are welcomed on Monday, June 9, 2003 from 7-9 p.m. Ann will then rest at the Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Home (West B ranch) for visitation on Wednesday, June 11, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Mary's Parish in Williamstown, ON., on Thursday at 10:30 a.m., with the Rite of Committal following at St. Mary's Parish Cemetery.
