Angus MacPherson January 15, 1915 - March 01, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Dartmouth) MacPHERSON, Angus - 90, Dartmouth, passed away in Twin Oaks Memorial Hospital, Musquodoboit Harbour, on March 1, 2005. Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, he was a son of the late Angus and Annie (Adam) MacPherson. Angus was born and raised in Scotland, where he worked as a plumber until his retirement. He was a very active member of Junction Road Congregational Church in Leith until he immigrated to Canada in 1980. He was active at Iona Presbyterian Church, Dartmouth until his health failed. Angus will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Surviving are son, Angus, Halifax; granddaughters, Anne-Marie, Dartmouth; Karen, Toronto; grandson, Stewart, Toronto; great-granddaughters, Beverley, Isabella and Barbara, all of Dartmouth; brothers, John (Margaret), Harold (Betty), Nelson (Mary), all of Dartmouth; sister, Babes (Alan) Currie, Hopewell; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Gladys (Gibb); sisters, Ruth Ferguson (Dartmouth), Winnifred George (Riverton). Cremation has taken place under the direction of Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main St., Dartmouth. Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Iona Presbyterian Church, 90 Lucien Dr., Dartmouth, Rev. Lindsay Rankin officiating. Family flowers only.
