BROOKS, Alvina Mildred (Crawford) (Morin) (nee McPherson) - In loving memory of Alvina Mildred (Crawford) (Morin) Brooks (nee McPherson), 87 years, of Sudbury, who passed away Saturday morning, January 1st, 2005 at the Extendicare-York, Sudbury. She was born in Walford. A longtime Sudbury resident, she had been a clerk at the Metropolitan and Zellers Stores for many years retiring in 1982. An artistic person, she enjoyed craft work and sewing. Alvina was devoted to her loving family. Beloved wife of George Crawford, Leo Morin and Herb Brooks all predeceased. Loving mother of Eldon Crawford (wife Stella) of Sudbury, Marvin "Gord" Crawford predeceased (wife Simone of Sudbury) and Keith Morin (wife Lois) of Sudbury. Cherished grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Dear daughter of John and Louise (Morrison) McPherson predeceased. Dear sister of Clarence McPherson, Dorothy Healy, Donelda Livingstone and Reta Bell all predeceased. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St., Tuesday, January 4th, 2005 at 11:30 a.m. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Donations to the Sudbury Regional Hospital - Heart Equipment Fund or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
