MAK, Allen Chong LamSeptember 4, 1961 – January 21, 2017It is with peace and sorrow we announce the death of my husband and soul mate, Allen. God brought us together from our shared passion for food, travel, and love of dogs, which drew us closer together. His booming laughter and hope in each day is a fond memory for those he encountered. His friends were precious to Allen and he appreciated the continuous contact during the ups and downs of life. Most of all, he will be remembered for his love and trust in our Lord Jesus, who gave him strength each day as he battled his numerous health challenges. He is survived by his wife, Yvonne and parents Polly and David Mak. Viewing will be held at Friday, February 3, 2017 between 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Ocean View Funeral Home, 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby, BC. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 1:00 p.m., Broadway Church, 2700 East Broadway, Vancouver, BC. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Kidney Foundation or SPCA.
