MacPHERSON, Alexander "Alex" In loving memory of Alexander "Alex" MacPherson, 78 years, Tuesday evening, July 5, 2005 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - Laurentian Site. Beloved husband of Irma (Koski) MacPherson predeceased 1983, and Christine (Martin) MacPherson predeceased 2000. Loving father of Donna (husband Fred Coole) and Rod (wife Brenda) both of Sudbury, Glenn (wife Florence) of Onaping and Scott (wife Kate) of Dowling. Dear stepfather of Ivan Martin of P.E.I. Cherished grandfather of Shaun, Ryan, Alison, Sara, Emily, Troy and Amy. Dear son of Roderick and Dorothy MacPherson both predeceased. Dear brother of Dorothy (husband Harold MacRae) of P.E.I., predeceased by John Angus, Stewart, Milton and Edna. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Born in Culloden, P.E.I., he moved to Creighton in 1947 and Levack in 1948. Alex was a miner at Falconbridge Nickel Mines for 30 years, retiring in 1982. He was a member of the Onaping Falls Golden Age Club. In his younger days, he was an avid hunter. Alex will be lovingly remembered as a devoted family man. Funeral Service in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St. on Saturday, July 9th, 2005 at 11:30 a.m. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium.
