Pioneers of the Millet family

Pierre Millet-Millier was baptized on September 1, 1653 in Mirebeau, Vienne, France. Son of Vincent Millet and Claude Perrin, he married Marie-Madeleine Pelletier on November 13, 1702. Marie-Madeleine is the widow of Nicolas Cliche and the daughter of Georges Pelletier and Catherine Vanier. They had 4 children. He became a widow in 1701 and married Marie Salois on November 20, 1702 in Ile d'Orléans. Marie is Pierre Lefebvre's widow and the daughter of Claude Salois and Anne Mabile. From this union were born 8 children. Traveler and innkeeper in this country since 1687, he lived in Quebec, then in l'Ile d'Orléans where he died on October 15, 1715 and burried the next day.
