Nicolas Milet-Millet-Le Beauceron was baptized on December 6, 1628 in Neuville-aux-Bois, Loiret, France. Son of Jacques Millet and Jeanne Vincent, he married Catherine Loiron on April 9, 1657 in Montreal. Catherine is the daughter of Mathurin Lorin and Françoise Morin, and the widow of Pierre Vilain and Jean Simon. From this union were born 8 children. In 1653, he settled in Montreal where he worked as a master carpenter and a pit sawyer. In 1655, like many other people, he agreed to pay annual fees to the surgeon for his family. He died in a house fire on March 6, 1674 and burried in Montreal three days later.
Nicolas Milet-Millet-Marandais-Maranda was born circa 1633 in Surin, Vienne, France. Son of Jean Millet and Michelle Gousson-Cousson, he married Michelle Lesdille, daughter of Nicolas and Renée Chevalier, on December 29, 1668. The location of the wedding is unknown. From this union were born 4 children. In 1666 Nicolas Milet is a servant in Trois-Rivières and then in Cap-de-la-Madeleine where he chose to settle in 1667. We found him in 1681 in l'Arbre-à-la-Croix. He died before December 10, 1684. His burial location is unknown.
