Georges-Léon Mallard: born about 1814 in Basse-Alsace (Bas Rhin), France, son of André-Augustin Mallard and Étudienne-Anne Jacob, married Marie Dionne-Soucy, daughter of Pierre Dionne and Elisabeth-Isabelle Beaupré, on January 7th, 1835 at St-Pierre-les-Becquets (St-Pierre-Apôtre). There is 10 children born from this union. In 1837, they settled in Notre-Dame-de-Montréal. He is a painter (1837, 1840, 1842), a teacher (1839, 1849, 1850), clerk (1843), merchant (1844, 1845, 1846, 1847) and postal worker (1877). He dies after November 12th 1877.
