Obituary of William-D. Collier

COLLIER, WILLIAM D. age 69, of McCalla, AL, passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2012. Mr. Collier was a member of Tannehill Valley Baptist Church. He retired from Tannehill State Park as a Ranger. "Big Willie" was an avid Alabama football fan. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Nancy Jo Collier; his brothers, Charles (Marne) Collier of Hueytown and Ronnie (Norma) Collier of Bucksville; his sisters, Sandra Gail (Alton) McFarland of Jackson, Martha Kearley of Pleasant Grove and Merry (Paul) Savage of Odenville; several nieces, nephews and extended loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held at Bessemer Brown Service Funeral Home Friday, October 12, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with burial in Bucksville Cemetery. Pastor Jon Reeves and Bro. Marty McDill will be officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Tannehill Valley Baptist Church, 12858 Tannehill Parkway, McCalla, AL 35111.
