Obituary of William-Bert Anderson

Retired Electrician SYMSONIA, Ky.- Mr. William Bert Anderson, 73, entered into rest Saturday, July 31, 2004 in Western Baptist Hospital , Paducah, Ky., the beloved husband of Mrs. Mamie Elizabeth Anderson. Other family members are one son, William Bert Anderson, Jr., Mountain Top, Pa.; one daughter, Patty Anderson Leigh, Symsonia, Ky.; one brother, Charley Anderson, Georgetown, S.C.; one sister, Gladys Bennett, Charleston, S.C.; two granddaughters, Mary Shea Anderson and Stevie Leigh and two grandsons, Luke William Leigh and Samuel Parker Anderson. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 4, 2004 at 1 p.m. at the Miracle Baptist Church (1308 Hephzibah-McBean Rd.) with Rev. Steve Leigh officiating. Mr. Anderson will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Jim 'A.B.' Quattlebaum, Doug Lively, Charles Black, Lee Whitlock, Robert 'Bob' H and and David Shelton. Honorary pallbearers will be member of the Forever Young Sunday School Class. Mr. Anderson was a native of Georgetown, S.C., a retired electrician with Georgia Power Company and a member of Clarks Rivers Baptist Church and an Army Veteran.
