Obituary of Wayne-Leslie Mackenzie

Wayne Leslie MacKenzie 1952-2008 Oct 3, 1952-Oct 21, 2008. Wayne passed away suddenly on October 21 at the age of 56. He is survived by wife Peggy, daughter Tammy Abbott(Mike) son Jason (Denise) five beautiful grandchildren, Maggie and Cole Abbott, Carson, Chloe and Olivia MacKenzie, Eight brothers, Maurice (Anna) Clinton (Marilyn) Gerald (Shirley) Wendell (Villa) Garry (Darlene) Carl (Betty) Brian (Donna) Leonard and one sister Marilyn (Bob) Margaret Harding, Chuck (Wendy) Bob, Bill (Jan) Mike, Malcolm, and Mindy (Mark). Several nieces and nephews and many good friends. A very large number of family and friends attended the funeral service Friday Oct 24 held at Carleton Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Mike Horseman officiated. Wayne's 10 yr. old granddaughter, Maggie wrote and read her Pop Pops eulogy. Art Estabrooks sang. Pallbearers were Jason MacKenzie, Leonard MacKenzie, Mike Abbott, grandson Cole Abbot, Mike Harding, Wayne Kenny, Mike Denny and Chuck Harding(Jr.) Honorary pallbearers were friends and co workers, Kevin Arsenault, Joe Stafford, Dominique Noel, Marcel Thibeauet and Troy MacMillan.
