Obituary of Vincent-P. Gentile

Gentile , Vincent P. (Poppy), 88, of Hollywood passed away Monday, July 2, 2007. He was born February 12, 1919 in Amsterdam, New York and relocated to Hollywood, Florida in 1960. He was a World War II Veteran. He was a wonderful, kind and generous husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to all who knew him and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Madeline DiCaprio Gentile; daughter, Nancy and son-in-law Pat Midas; grandchildren, Patrick Midas, Jr., Chrissy Trotta and her husband Steve, Todd Midas and his wife Lena; great-grandchildren: Vincent, Anthony, Angelina, Joey and Alaina; along with several nieces, nephews and sisters-in-law. Visitation will be held at Boyd's Funeral Home Thursday 2-4 & 6-8. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM, Friday, July 6, at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, Miramar, Florida.
