Obituary of Thomas Lavell

LAVELL, Thomas Gregory Veteran of WWII Peacefully at the Montfort hospital, on July 25, 2008 at the age of 94 years, surrounded by his loving family. Thomas was predeceased by his wife Monica (Larkin). Dear father of Maureen (Roger Sarault), Sheila (Luc Charbonneau), Tom (Lyse Patenaude), Rosemary (Chris Pearson) and his grandchildren Nathalie (Stephane Bond), Jason, Jocelyne, Patrick, Martin and Katie. He is survived by brother Peter and sisters Kay, Florence and Theresa. Predeceased by brother Bernard, Harry and sisters Alice, Dorothy and Rev. Sister Ann Maureen (Marion). The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the emergency staff at the Montfort hospital; Danielle, Stephanie and the ICU staff, Sophie Peladeau and Dr A. Brabant. A special thanks to Dr Cain for his many years of wonderful care. Visitation at the Whelan Funeral Home 515 Cooper St (between Bay & Lyon) on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A mass of Christian Funeral to be held at St Patrick's Basilica on Saturday, August 9, 2008 at 10 AM.
