Obituary of Sarah-Meeks McNeely

Mrs. Sarah Meeks McNeely - METTER - Mrs. Sarah Meeks McNeely 80 of Metter died Monday November 4, 2008 at the Candler County Hospital after an extended illness. She was a homemaker and former member of the Metter PBW and also a charter member of Cedar Street Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her husband H.J. (Junior) McNeely, five brothers and one sister. Survivors: Sons, Ronald and Ricky McNeely both of Metter, Daughters, Brenda McNeely of Statesboro and Nancy Godowns of Hilton Head SC, Sister in-Law Catherine Meeks of Metter, 7 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday 6:00-8:00 also in the chapel. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00PM Thursday in the chapel of Kennedy-Morgan-Brannen Funeral Home of Metter with burial to follow in the Lake cemetery.
