Obituary of Ruth Mackay

GARNHAM, Ruth - Passed away at North Bay General Hospital, Scollard Site, July 6, 2009 at the age of 85. Ruth (née MacKay) was the beloved wife of the late Ernest Garnham and dearly loved mother of Judy Esch (Brian) of Astorville and John Garnham (Sandy) of Sprucedale. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Lisa Mathieu (Steve), Christine Esch (Trefle), Shane and Carrie Solway (Dean); great-grandchildren, Alexander, Candace, Dominique, Laurie, Dakota and Jaden. Ruth was the dear sister of Betty MacKay and sister-in-law to Grace Drake. She was predeceased by her parents, Rose and Alexander MacKay, two brothers, Bill and Dick and a nephew, Dan MacKay. She will be sadly missed by her family at Blue Sky Bingo. Family receiving friends at the McGUINTY FUNERAL HOME, Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be conducted by Kathleen McCallum in the Funeral Home Chapel, Friday at 11 a.m. Cremation will follow at Forest Lawn Crematorium.
