Obituary of Richard Irving

IRVING, Sydney Richard (Dick) February 29, 1924 June 3, 2009 The Irving and Lench families sadly announce the passing of Dick Irving. Dick was born in Regina, Saskatchewan. He was predeceased by his wife Lillian and stepdaughter Mavis. Dick is survived by his stepson Douglas (Leona), niece Michelle and nephews Stu and Ken. Dick will be missed by many, those from the Armed Services where he served for three years, the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 292, the Old Timers Hockey League, the Gorge Vale Golf Club and his many friends from the Crystal Pool and Paul's Restaurant. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 12 at 2:00 p.m. at McCall Bros. Funeral Home, 1400 Vancouver Street, reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dick's memory to a favourite charity. 545183
