Obituary of Richard-Alvin Hall

Surrounded by the love of his family, after a brief illness, on Tuesday, February 4, 2003, in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Lola (nee Mielke). Devoted father to Rick (Susan), Cindy (Paul Hobbs), Joanne (Phil Hadke) and Karen (Stacy Savage). Proud and much-loved Grampa to Evan and Kathryn Hall, David and Christopher Hobbs and Andrew Hadke. Dear brother of the late Helen Paterson, Lorne of Smiths Falls and David (Lynn) of Washington, DC. Loving "Uncle Al" to many nieces and nephews. "Mr. Canada Day" to his friends and neighbours on Redpine Drive and Keewatin Crescent. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street, on Friday, February 7th, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, February 8th at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ottawa Hospital Foundation - Civic Campus, would be appreciated by the family.
