Obituary of Pierre-Henri Taschereau

WWII Veteran RCAF #441 Squadron, 6th Bomber Group Died December 28, 2003 at Lakeshore General Hospital at age 81. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Simone Wood of 54 years, and his four children Micheline (Barry Cullen), Christine, Robert (Ute Stoltz), Andre (Suzanne Pilote) and his two loving grandchildren Peter and Jamie. Coming from a military family, he served in and loved the RCAF. He was the youngest child of the late Col. Gustave Arthur Taschereau, MD and May O'Ryan of Quebec City and was predeceased by his seven siblings: sisters Stella (Roberge), Mita (Desjardins), Marcelle (Gaudry). Renee, Gabrielle, Lucille (Remillard) and brother Gustave (Lt. Col. DSO) The family will receive condolences at St. Veronica's Church, 1300 Carson, Dorval, one hour prior to the 11:00 a.m. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, December 31. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or other Charity of your choice. Funeral entrusted to J.J. Cardinal.
