Obituary of Norma-Ruth Ramsey

Norma Ruth Ramsey, passed away Friday, February 28th 2014 in Bradenton, Florida at the age of 77. Norma was born in Attleboro, Massachusetts on July 16th, 1936, and was the youngest of eight children born to Agnes and George Hocking (both departed). Norma was married for fifty years to James Ramsey (who passed away in 2005). Over the span of their marriage they lived in Ohio and Massachusetts before retiring to Florida. Norma was a devoted wife, loving mother, and a doting grandmother and great grandmother. She worked, for a short time, in Attleboro's jewelry industry and enjoyed cooking New England-style boiled dinners, baking cakes, and cake decorating for her family. Norma is survived by her four sons: David (Colorado), Greg (Kentucky), James (New Hampshire), and Christopher (Florida), twelve grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. The family requests that donations, in her honor, be made to the Tidewell Hospice House in Bradenton, Florida. Norma Ruth Ramsey is directly responsible for twenty-four people on this planet, and she loved them all.
