Obituary of Mrs. -Sarah McNeely

METTER - Mrs. Sarah Meeks McNeely, 80, of Metter, died Monday, November 4, 2008, at the Candler County Hospital after an extended illness. She was a homemaker and former member of the Metter PBW and also a charter member of Cedar Street Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her husband, H.J. "Junior" McNeely; five brothers and one sister. Survivors: sons, Ronald and Ricky McNeely, both of Metter; daughters, Brenda McNeely of Statesboro and Nancy Godowns of Hilton Head, S.C.; sister in-law, Catherine Meeks of Metter; seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Kennedy-Morgan-Brannen Funeral Home of Metter with burial to follow in the Lake cemetery.
