July 21, 1930 - July 2, 2003 Passed away in Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital on Wednesday morning, Merv Allan of Braeside, Ontario in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Elizabeth "Betty" (Scott) Allan. Dear father of Jane (John) Mason of Cambridge, Ontario. Survived by 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Alvin Allan and Cliff (Mary) Allan of Maberly, Jean (the late Don) VanAlstine of Maberly and Viola (the late Shaw) Mallory of Gananoque. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Brother-in-law of Barbara (Ed) Sparham of Hamilton, Margaret "Peggy" (late George) Clements of Chelsea, PQ and Patricia (Richrad) Poole of Punta Gorda, Florida, USA. Resting privately at The Boyce Funeral Home, Chapel, Visitation and Reception Centre 138 Daniel Street N., Arnprior Respecting Merv's wishes there will be no public visitations, in memoriams to Arnprior Hospital or The Ottawa General Hospital "Cancer Unit" appreciated by his family.
