Obituary of Lola-Eleanor-Macdonald Hanna

HANNA _ Lola Eleanor Lola Eleanor Macdonald (Hanna, Dubinsky) passed away Wednesday August 9th, 2006 at the Rosedale Hospice in Calgary. She fought an eight-year battle with cancer with courage, dignity and humour. Lola was born in Simcoe, Ontario on September 25th, 1941. She will be lovingly and forever remembered by her beloved son Clarke (Lana) Hanna of Vancouver, B.C., her stepchildren Rob (Wendy) Hanna of Tampa Bay, Florida, Joy Hanna (Steve) of Battleground, Washington, Krista Cantarutti of Gibsons, B.C.; their father Bob Hanna of Coos Bay, Oregon, and her step-grandchildren Jack, Katie, Hannah, Julian, Olivia, and Angela. She also leaves to mourn, her mother, Aileen Macdonald of Calgary and Grand Cayman, two brothers Dave (Margie) and Don, and her nieces and nephews, Sean, Leanne, JD, and Gileen, all of Cayman and many dear friends. She was predeceased by her husband Murrey Dubinsky, and by her father, James D. Macdonald. A memorial service for Lola Hanna will be held on Monday August 14th, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. at First Memorial Funeral Services, 240 17th Avenue S.W. Calgary, Alberta. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to James D. and Lola Macdonald Memorial Endowment, Faculty of Medicine, University of Calgary, 3330 Hospital Drive N.W. Calgary, Alberta T2N 4N1.
