Obituary of Leslie-J. Fowler

Sept 22/36 - Jan 3/12 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Les Fowler - Father, Husband, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather on January 3, 2012 at Lions Gate Hospital. We know that he has gone to a better place. Les is predeceased by his mother (Dolores 1987), father (James 1990) and his wife (Nan 2009). He is survived by his sister Barbara (Vern), his sons John (Christine), David (Heather), and Stepsons John (Jean), Andrew (Janie). In addition he will be missed by his grandchildren Victoria, Natalie, Kelsey, Lauren, Kevin, Justin, and Stephanie as well as many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Les spent a great deal of energy supporting the Inglewood Senior Home and other charities in the community. He was a true gentleman, businessman and a very proud member of the Chartered Accountants Institute (CA) until his last day. Les will now be able to spend time golfing and dancing with Nan in the best place on earth and keeping an eye on all of his kids. A service celebrating Les's life will be held at the North Lonsdale United Church 3380 Lonsdale Ave on Friday January 20th @ 1:30pm.
