Obituary of Lena-Josephine Bahre

->AUGUSTA -- Lena Josephine Bahre, 75, of Farmingdale, died Thursday, Aug. 3, 2006, at MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta.She was born in Canton, Conn., the daughter of Charles and Mary (Brown) Bahre.Lena was a person who loved people and loved to make them laugh. She was loved by everyone who knew her. Lena greatly enjoyed her friendships with the staff and residents of Hall Dale Manor where she resided for many years. She loved dogs, shopping, going out to eat, having her hair done and visiting and meeting new people. Lena also enjoyed her friendships and times with people at Uplift, Inc. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and were enriched by her loving personality.Ms. Bahre is survived by her niece, Josephine Bush, of Torrington, Conn.Lena will be buried at Mount Hope Cemetery in Augusta at a later date.Arrangements are in the care of Knowlton and Hewins Funeral Home, One Church Street in Augusta.www.khrfuneralhomes.com.
