Obituary of Kathleen-A. McNeil

Kathleen A. McNeil, loving mother and grandmother, passed away on November 1, 2014, All Saints Day. Kathleen was born in Syracuse, NY and was known for her love of her family and her inspiring faith. She was forever thankful for her Catholic education at Saint John the Baptist and her lifelong friends she met in school. Kathleen was predeceased by her high school sweetheart and loving husband of 52 years, Donald. Kathleen leaves in her memory her sons, Dennis (Anna) and Kenneth (Charlene), both of Rochester, NY, Sean (Alison) of Bethlehem, GA; daughter, Karen (Paul) Lynch of Jacksonville, FL; brother, David (Ginnie) Saur of Canandaigua and sister, Mary Pat (Michael) Mowe of N. Adams, MA. Kathleen cherished the love of her grandmother, Laura Saur and shared that same love with each of her 14 grandchildren. She is predeceased by her brother, Peter Saur of Syracuse, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 5, 2014, in St. Joseph's Historical Catholic Church, 4214 Loretto Road, Jacksonville, FL, with Father Bernardine Eikhuemelo as Celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, 11730 Old St. Augustine Rd. Donations may be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
