Joseph Frederick Davy May 20, 1920 - February 08, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Marcotte Funeral Home & Chapel (Tecumseh) Davy, Joseph Frederick 84 years, peacefully, on February 8, 2005. Late of Tecumseh. Beloved husband of the late Lilian (Page) (1991). Loving father of Anne and husband Wayne Taylor, of Belle River; David and wife Mary Jane, of London; and the late Ian (1999). Dear daughter-in-law Louise Davy of Toronto. Dear grandfather of Brad and Kathy; Jay and Stephanie, Kimberly, Ryan and Nina, Aaron and Jaime, Alex; Sheri and Chris. Great grandfather of Bradley, Tyler, Zachary and Owen. Dear brother of Jean Girling, Sydney, George, Arthur and the late Edith. Dear friend of Eleanor Baldock. Uncle Joe will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Joe was a retired Deputy Sheriff of Essex County, a veteran of WWII serving with the Essex Scottish Regiment. With his many hobbies and interests he was a member of the Windsor Woodcarvers, a member of the Windsor Amateur Radio Club (VE3FHE) and a member of the Windsor Model Ship Builders Club. Visiting Thursday from 2:00 to 5:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 11, 2005 at 11:00 am at The Marcotte Funeral Home and Chapel, 12105 Tecumseh Road, Tecumseh (735-2830). Rev'd Kevin George officiating. Interment at Victoria Memorial Gardens. As your expression of sympathy a donation to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Joseph Davy in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held on September 25, 2005. All are welcome.
