Obituary of John-R. Colburn

John Robert Colburn, 82, of Russellville, Ala., died Sept. 29, 2007.Visitation was 6-9 p.m. Monday, Oct. 1, at Colbert Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today in the funeral home chapel, with burial in Mount Zion Cemetery. Officiating is Brother Jim Lumpkin.Survivors include six sons; three daughters; two brothers, Charlie Colburn, of Moulton, and Thomas Colburn, of Covington, Ga.; two sisters, Mary Glover, of Petersburg, Va., and Ruby Johnson, of Russellville, Ala.; a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.Pallbearers will be family and friends.Colbert Memorial Chapel, of the Shoals, is directing.
