Obituary of John O-Rourke

O'ROURKE , John "Jack" It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. John "Jack" O'Rourke of Fox Creek, AB, formerly of Bowden, who passed away peacefully on Friday, February 5, 2010, at the age of 89 years. Jack will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by special loved one Jeanne (Jim), many dear relatives, extended family and many lifelong friends. Jack was predeceased by his beloved wife May, and his parents William and Nellie O'Rourke. A Service of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 15, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at METCALF FUNERAL CHAPEL, 4200 - 49 Avenue, Innisfail, AB with the Venerable Ken Wells officiating and Interment to follow at the Bowden Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial tributes in Jack's honor may be made to the Ronald McDonald House, Stollery Children's Hospital or the charity of one's choice.
