Obituary of Jo-Ann Powell

POWELL, Jo Ann, 65, of Lake Placid, passed away Monday morning, April 10, 2006, at her residence. She was born in Jackson, Tenn. to parents, Carl and Marjorie Cude, and moved to Lake Placid 25 years ago from Tennessee. She enjoyed playing golf at the Placid Lakes Country Club, where she shot a hole in one. Mrs. Powell was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her loving son, Brian Lipford (Wanda); two grandchildren; sister, Nellie Pate and brother, Carl Cude. Funeral services will be at a later date in Tennessee.
