Obituary of Jeffrey-Alan Taylor

Jeffrey Alan Taylor, 55, of Navarre, Fla., died Monday, June 4, 2012. Mr. Taylor was a native of Springfield, Ill., but had resided in the area for the past eight years, coming here from southern Illinois. Mr. Taylor was of the Catholic faith and attended St. Sylvester Catholic Church. He loved fishing, golf and bow hunting. Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his father, Billy Taylor; brothers, Patrick and Eric Taylor; and son, Jeremy Taylor. Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife of 28 years, Cynthia Taylor; mother, Judy Sutter; sons, Matthew (Brooke) Uchtman and Samuel Taylor; daughter; Ashley Taylor; brothers, Sean (Kelli) Taylor and Christopher Taylor; and grandchildren, Madison and Avery Uchtman.A memorial prayer service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 9, in the chapel of Lewis Funeral Home, Navarre Chapel, with Father John Kelly officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Lewis Funeral Home, Navarre Chapel, is entrusted with arrangements.
