FRANKLIN – Jeannette M. (Nadeau) Boyce, 87, died Sept. 27, 2013, at the Merrimack County Nursing Home after a long illness.Jeannette was born in Windsor Mills, Quebec, and was a longtime resident of Franklin. Jeannette worked for IPC in Bristol and Franklin, as well as the Peabody Home in Franklin. Jeannette was a member of St. Paul's Church.Jeannette enjoyed spending time with family and always looked forward to Thanksgiving at her niece's house. One of her favorite pastimes was watching her nephews play in a band at the Franklin VFW Post 1698. As everyone knew, Jeannette's favorite musician was Elvis Presley.Jeannette was predeceased by her parents, Adelard and Sarah (LaPlante) Nadeau; and six siblings, Robert Nadeau, Rene Nadeau, Armand Nadeau, Loretta Caldon, Nancy Guerin and Theresa Dion.Jeannette is survived by her loving daughter, Susan M. Nadeau; as well as her five brothers and three sisters, Roland Nadeau, Gerard Nadeau, Roger Nadeau, Raymond Nadeau, Gene Nadeau, Juliette Stevens, Lorraine Ladeau and Joanne Guerin. Jeannette also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, as well as a cousin and best friend Dolly Cutting.Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, Oct. 1, from 6-8 p.m., at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin St., Franklin. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, Oct. 2, at 9 a.m. in St. Paul's Church.Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery.
