Obituary of Helen-V. Hanlon

Hanlon, Helen V., 78, of Hollywood, FL died on April 3 of heart failure. She was born April 26, 1926 in Luzerne, PA. After graduating from College Misericordia in 1947, she began her teaching career in Barnegat, NJ and later moved to Somerville, NJ. There she met her husband Robert and settled in Hollywood where they raised a family of three sons, Robert, Michael and John and a daughter, Mary Conway. She retired after 34 years of teaching English, French and math at Driftwood Middle and McArthur High Schools. Helen did not want her death mourned but rather her life celebrated. A private old fashioned Irish wake will be held in her honor.
