Obituary of Helen-Strafford Pope

Helen S. Pope Died: Sat Aug 4, 2012 Pope, Helen S. - Helen Strafford Pope passed away peacefully at Bobby’s Hospice on Saturday, August 4th, 2012. Born 1951 in Saint John, Helen worked at Ganongs as well as the Algonquin Hotel kitchen for many years. Helen enjoyed reading, doing puzzles and camping. She is survived by her close friend Barbara Norris of Ontario and her extended family and friends of Mountain View Care Home. Helen was predeceased by her parents and beloved brother. Thank you to Staff and Nurses of 3C South at the Saint John Regional Hospital and Bobby’s Hospice. Arrangements are under the direction of the Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Rd. (646-2424). A graveside service will be held at Fernhill Cemetery, Tuesday, August 7th at 10 a.m. Donations in Helen’s memory may be made to Bobby’s Hospice.
