Helen (Stenberg) Burgess of South Yarmouth, formerly of Braintree, May 31, 2011. Wife of the late Robert J Burgess. Beloved mother of Robert J. Burgess Jr. of W. Yarmouth, Margaret Thompson of Wareham, Diane Gillis and her husband Edward of Abington and Cheryl Burgess of W.Yarmouth. Cherished Nana of 11 and Great- Nana of four. Sister of Robert Stenberg and the late John and Fred Stenberg. Daughter of the late Freddie and Margaret Stenberg. Helen loved the Red Sox and enjoyed gardening, dancing and her games of bingo. She always had a smile for you. Memorial service was on Monday, June 6 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hallett Funeral Home, 273 Station Ave., So. Yarmouth. Burial will be private.
