Obituary of Hazel Lindsay

LINDSAY, Hazel Mary Julia (nee Welsh) March 5, 1919 – Longueuil, QuebecAugust 1, 2016 – Calgary, AlbertaHazel Mary Julia Lindsay of Calgary, AB, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2016, at the age of 97 years, with her family by her side. Hazel was bright, beautiful, and full of life. She was known for her feistiness and good sense of humour. Hazel was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother and took pride in her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Hazel was predeceased by her husband, John Lindsay; brother Patrick J. Welsh (Eleanor); sister Margaret MacDonald (Frank); and son John R. Lindsay (Gail). Hazel is survived by her daughter, Sandra Kosyk (Terry); her loving grandchildren Steven (Nancy), Michael (Helen), Reina (Charles), Katrina, and Peter (Rebecca); as well as her great-grandchildren Kyle, Noah, and Ashley.
