Obituary of Harriet-Jane-Davis Rice

Rice, Harriet Jane Davis, age 83, of Ft. Lauderdale, passed away on Aug. 19, at Colonial Nursing Home in Elkins, WV. Mrs. Rice moved to Ft. Lauderdale with her husband W.J. Rice in 1956 coming from Elkins, WV. She is preceded in death by her husband W.J. Rice, parents, William Grant Davis and Ida Mae Davis, sister Gwen Cupp and brother Alan Davis. Survivors include her daughter Linda (John) Steinlage of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; grandchildren, Tami and Gregory Steinlage, both of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; sister, Marian McCaskie of Elkins, WV. Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2003 at 3:00 P.M. at Maplewood Cemetery in Elkins, WV. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 3:00 PM at Tomblyn Funeral Home, 45 Randolph Avenue, Elkins, WV. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Allen Babcock Dog / Cat Rescue Inc, 1881 SW 21st Street, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33315 or a charity of choice.
