Obituary of Gregory-J. Stott

ObituaryGregory J. Stott, 53, of Fort Myers Beach, died Feb. 4, 2001. He was born Aug. 5, 1947 in Chicago, IL. Formerly of Chicago, he has been a resident of Fort Myers Beach since 1985. He has been an active musician and blues guitar player in the local are for many years. He served with the U.S. Army in Viet Nam, and was owner of Casey's Alley on Fort Myers Beach. He is survived by his parents, John and Katherine Stott of Orlando, FL, brothers, Patrick J. of Jacksonville, FL, Paul M. (Karen) of Orlando, FL, sister Marybeth Stott of Orlando, Ramona and Brendan Kaiser of Fort Myers Beach, nieces Laura, Jackie, and Christine Sheridan, and Roscoe. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 8, 2001 at Fort Myers Beach Memorial Funeral Home 17811 San Carlos Blvd. Fort Myers Beach. Interment will take place at Florida National Cemetery with military honors. Friends may call at Fort Myers Beach Memorial Funeral Home on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
