Obituary of Grace-L. Wilcox

ObituaryGrace L. Wilcox, 75, of Fort Myers, passed away Saturday, May 29, 2004. She was born Oct. 14, 1928 at Grand Haven, Mich., the daughter of John & Lottie Huttenga. The family later moved to Grand Rapids. In 1946, she married Milton J. Wilcox and lived in Lowell, Mich., until moving to Ft. Myers Beach in 1960. They bought and operated the Gulf View Colony for 11 years. Grace then worked for a number of banks and real estate agencies until she retired. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Milt; 2 sons, Gerald (Marji) Wilcox and Thomas (Patricia) Wilcox; a sister, Joy Butindyke; 5 grandchildren & 6 great-grandchildren. A private memorial service was held at the Ft. Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Cremation arrangements were by Ft. Myers Memorial Funeral Home.
