Obituary of Gloria Bishop

Bishop, Gloria Ruth.Gloria Ruth Bishop, age 84 of Rowayton, died on Friday, August 2, 2013 at Westport Health Care. She was born and raised in Brookhaven, NY by her parents Theodore and Alice (Burkhardt) Bishop of Long Island. She worked for Norwalk Savings Society for over 20 years and taught Sunday School at Norwalk United Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading and corresponding with friends and family. A loving woman who especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.She is survived by her sons Walter Albert Belinsky Jr, and his wife Jennifer of Fairfield, and Christopher Bishop Belinsky and his wife Jennifer of Norwalk, a daughter Jacinth Ruth Belinsky, 4 grandchildren: Megan, Caroline, Kaitlyn and Tyler, a brother Theodore, 2 sisters Evelyn and Mary and other loving friends and relatives. She was predeceased by her daughter Melissa Ann Belinsky.Funeral services will be held at 10am on Wednesday at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave, Norwalk, with burial to follow at Riverside Cemetery, Norwalk.
