Obituary of Glen-Joseph Black


Glen Joseph Black, 70, died on Aug. 4, 2005, in Fort Pierce. He was born in Sebastian and came to Fort Pierce as a child. He was the owner/operator of Inlet Fisheries Inc. since 1975. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Delores Black of Fort Pierce; daughters, Cathy M. Hegedus, Tammy L. Casson and Glenda S. Macon, all of Fort Pierce; sisters, Rosetta Jones of Stuart and Ola Mae Martin and Barbara Herring, both of Fort Pierce, and Diane Humble of Arkansas; brother, Grant Black of Georgia; companion, Darla; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Treasure Coast, 1201 S.E. Indian St., Stuart, FL 34997. SERVICES: Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Aug. 5 at Haisley Funeral Home. A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Aug. 6 at Westside Baptist Church in Fort Pierce with the Rev. James Biles of Northside Christian Fellowship officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. A guest book may be signed at www.haisleyfuneralhome.com.
