THOMPSON, Gertrude "Gertie" (nee Majeski)1938 - 2014 On July 27, 2014, Gertie passed away peacefully, at home with her family by her side.She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 57 years Larry, son Dale, daughter Maxine, her grandchildren; Karly, Taryn, Matthew, Tyler, Bradley and Riley, her great-grandchildren; Hayley and Avery, as well as numerous relatives and friends.Those wishing to pay their last respects to Gertie are welcome to Glenwood Funeral Home, South of Wye Road on Range Road 232, Wednesday, August 6, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., with the Funeral Service to follow at 2:00 p.m.In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Gertie's name to the Cross Cancer Institute.To send condolences please visitwww.glenwoodmemorial.com.
