Obituary of Gerald Noury

DOVER ; Gerald "Jerry" Noury,<B> </B>62, of Dover, died Saturday, Oct. 18, 2008, at the Hyder Family Hospice House.He was born May 23, 1946, in Nashua, the son of Eugene and Emilienne (Dion) Noury and had lived in Hampton for eight years before moving to Dover more than 30 years ago.For 35 years, Jerry owned and operated G.G. Noury Plumbing and Heating and more recently had worked as a plumber and electrician for UNH up until his illness in 2004.He was a member of the Dover Lodge of Elks 184, Dover Loyal Order of Moose 443, the Sons of the American Legion and was a 32nd Degree Mason.Survivors include his wife, whom he married in 2000, Sylvia (Grassie) Noury of Dover; two sons, Phil Noury and his wife, Tammy, of Newmarket and Dan Noury and his wife, Aimee, of Farmington; one daughter, Alicia Bigham and her husband, David, of Longview, Texas; five grandchildren, Patrick, Annabelle and Ben Bigham, and Tyler and Arianna Noury; brothers, Dick Noury of Hudson and Eugene Noury; two sisters, Joann Eells and Claire Wampler, both of Hudson; two aunts and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. with services beginning at 7 p.m. at the Tasker Funeral Home, 621 Central Ave., Dover.
