Obituary of Frederick-W. Embree

Embree, Frederick W., of Boca Raton, Florida, passed away on July 21, 2008. Fred was born in West Haven, Connecticut, graduated from The Gunnery Prepatory School and Dartmouth College and served in the infantry of the U.S. Army during WWII in Italy. Fred worked for thirty-five years as an executive with General Electric Company. Fred is survived by his beloved wife, Ferne, and with Ferne had nine children. Fred was predeceased by his daughters, Melanie and Melinda, and is survived by four daughters, Jennifer E. Ruderman (Arthur), Kimberly E. Fryns (Edward), Jill E. Fasano (Leonard) and Melissa E. Aitken (Andrew), and three sons, Frederick W. Embree, Jr., Mark Embree (Susan) and Michael Embree. Fred is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. A memorial service will be held in Connecticut on August 9.
