Obituary of Frank Mayo


MAYO, Frank John, 66, of Dallas, Ga., passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2006. A memorial service will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday at Macland Road Baptist Church with the Rev. George Wallace officiating. A native of Bridgeport, Conn., Mr. Mayo had moved to Dallas a few months ago from Apollo Beach, Fla. He was a retired electrician with Warner-Lambert Schick and was also a veteran of both the U.S. Navy submarine division and the Navy/Marine Corps C.B. Division during Vietnam and the Korean conflict. He also attended Macland Road Baptist Church in Powder Springs, Ga. He was preceded in death by his son, Paul Douglas Mayo and daughter, Heather Jean Mayo. Survivors include his wife, Gloria Larson Mayo of Dallas; son, Todd Joseph Mayo of East Haven, Conn.; daughter and son-in-law, Parrish and Michael Wood of Dallas; brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Shirley Mayo of Trumbull, Conn. and Raymond and Lois Mayo of Mesa, Ariz. And grandchildren, Paul Robert Mayo, Heather Cheyenne Mayo, Cheyenne Marie Mayo, Rachel Lynn Wood and Jonathan Michael Wood.
