Obituary of Foy-William Heath

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Glencoe-Hokes Bluff Chapel for Foy William Heath, 68, Gadsden, who went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2008. The Rev. Bruce Jenkins and the Rev. Allen Payne will officiate. Burial will be at Young's Chapel Cemetery. Glencoe-Hokes Bluff Funeral Home is in charge.Mr. Heath was born in Etowah County and lived in Hokes Bluff until moving to Tillison Bend. He retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. He was a member of Young's Chapel Church. Mr. Heath was a wonderful and devoted husband, father, brother and friend. He was preceded in death by his father, Dave Heath; and mother, Deatrice Heath.He is survived by his wife, Debra Heath; daughter, Lisa Heath; brother, Edward "Buddy" (Gail) Heath; sisters, Dorothy (Eugene) Clonts and Eva (Carlos) Shaw; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.Pallbearers will be Karen Entrekin, Sheriff Todd Entrekin, Shane Heath, Harold Heath, Jimmy Gidley and Wayne Phillips.Special thanks to our Young's Chapel Church family and our wonderful, caring neighbors and friends.The family encourages donations be made to Young's Chapel Cemetery Fund c/o Sherry Marbut, 4811 Pinehill Place, Hokes Bluff, AL 35903.The family will accept friends two hours prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home.
