Obituary of Eva-Lohman Russell

RUSSELL Eva Lohman Russell, 82, passed away on Monday, August 16, 2004. All who have been blessed to know her will greatly miss her loving spirit, joy for life and welcoming soul. She was born in Quincy, Mass, on March 30, 1922 and has lived in Jacksonville since 1924, graduating from Andrew Jackson High School. She worked briefly for Southern Bell and for many years as a teacher assistant at Greenfield Elementary School. She was predeceased by her son, Richard Russell. Eva is survived by a daughter, Marilyn Russell; a son, Michael (Lisa) Russell; a granddaughter, Allison (Harold) Tipton; her grandchildren, Jeremy, Corey and Taylor; two brothers, William F. Lohman, Jr. and Franklin Lohman; several nieces and nephews; and many other loving relatives and friends. A service to celebrate her life will be held Friday, August 20, 2004 at 11:00AM at Swaim United Methodist Church, 1620 Naldo St., followed by a graveside service at Evergreen Cemetery, North Main Street. Donations may be made in her name to the Sunday School Program at Fourth Church of Christ Scientist.
